About us
Llynfi Valley Tree & Garden Services was formed in 2006 by Steve Gentle as a sole trader specialising in landscaping & tree surgery, after 2 years the company started growing very quickly and soon needed to employ more men as we were contracting more and more to the local authorities, mainly tree surgery & highways clearance.
In March 2009 we became a limited company, employing up to 5 men, still staying small, all company members were all qualified to NPTC standards in their given tasks, mostly chainsaw, tree climbing, chipper operators, etc.
In 2010 I decided to get trained for pesticide spraying because of the growing demand in scrub clearance, and invasive weed control, I have been contracted to the local authorities to date.
We currently have 3 employees at this moment in time, all fully qualified in their given tasks as tree surgeons and herbicide treatment operatives.
7-8/02/2017 - I attended Property Care Association’s Control and Eradication of Japanese Knotweed Surveyors Training Course.
23/02/3017 - I attended the CSJK Examination Preparation Course.
01/05/2018 - I became a PCA Qualified Technician in Japanese Knotweed (PCAQT)
13/12/2018 - I became a PCA Certified Surveyor in Japanese Knotweed (CSJK).
01/01/2019 Llynfi Valley Tree & Garden Services Ltd. became a full member of the invasive weed section of the Property Care Association (PCA)
